NASA & humans to LEO
As you might know, Obama canceled the NASA Constellation program.
This means that NASA is now officially out of the business of putting humans to the Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
This, of course, does not mean that we will be relying on the Russians or Europeans - we will be using The Private Enterprise.
So we are now observing a "socialist" Obama privatizing a field which has been the Government domain for half a century.
Go figure...

Тут главное - чтоб они сняли бюрократические препятствия к частным полётам. Я так понимаю, что если б не это, частники вкладывали бы в это дело гораздо больше.
