Oct. 13th, 2008 11:10 amA google search reveals a whole bunch of news stories saying:
Two Russian Tupolev-162 strategic bombers -- each capable of carrying 12 cruise missiles armed with single 200-megaton nuclear warheads -- carried out exercises in Venezuela last month.
who is the moron who wrote this nonsense?
Tu-160 indeed carries 12 cruise missiles, each with a 200-kiloton nuclear warhead.
Those of you who shrug this off as nit-picking should be reminded of an old joke:
-Is it true that Jones just won 100 million dollars in a lottery?
-Yes, it is true indeed! Except that it was Roberts, not Jones; 100 dollars, not 100 million; poker, not lottery; and he actually lost the money, not won it.

who is the moron who wrote this nonsense?
- There is no such thing as a Tupolev-162 strategic bomber. The bombers are Tu-160.
- There is no such thing as a 200-megaton nuclear warhead. The largest (thermo)nuclear bomb ever tested was the 50MT Tsar Bomba. It never went into production because it makes no sense either militarily or economically.
